All GTis look better lowered! I want to do mine but have to wait to change insurers (its an oft-repeated statement from me you'll find - roll on September). I think teh plan for coilies might be binned in favour of Eibach Sportlines, as I don't need the adjustment, i want to keep a comfortable-ish ride and I don't want to be über-low, as I regularly have to face the multi-storey car park and a number of harsh speed bumps around here!
A custom cat-back 'zorst is on the cards one day when the OEm one falls off and I might change the stock BBS rims one day (shock horror!)

I started off with 40mm springs but it wasn't low enough. so i tryed 60mm springs for a mark 4, they dont fit but i re heated the springs and made them fit.. it looks low in the pic i have.
prices for the 40mm which is best to get are about £80 upwards.. just bepends what make of spring you get... x
