Radiator fan
Hi, after putting my car together again, i cant seem to make the radiator fan turn. When is the radiator fan suposed to turn, a friend of mine said it never turned on the polo 6n before the engine nearly cooked over.. but this seems strange to me. Would someone please take a look and see how your radiator fan is behaving ( suposed to behave) That would be great

Re: Radiator fan
Mine chimes in as soon as the temp goes over 90 (typically in traffic after a few mins) Doesn't sound right to me - new temp switch I think would be a good ideacinder wrote:Hi, after putting my car together again, i cant seem to make the radiator fan turn. the cooling system on the mk4 is the best in the line. I noticed it only comes on when you rag the *&%& outta ya motor and it creeps over 90. Also when ur water level drops below max it heats ups faster. Also sometimes only comes on when you stop your car. You wont notice it in traffic if its on because there so quiet. As well if your temp creeps over 90 it can indicate problems with them like water pump failure. So if it stays where it is everythin is fine]
