I'm stuck here in work, so haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but a couple of things struck me about it.
First, the $20 upgrade lets you input GPS coordinates into it.
Second, well... just look at it and draw your own conclusions:


I guess we'll find out tonight how it deals with the UK. If anyone's got a laptop, a GPS unit and $20 for an experiment I'd love to see how it works on the move...
The only problem is the data is downloaded on the fly, so you'd need to have chached all the daa for your route before setting off. Either that, or find an as yet unavilable ubiqituous wi-fi service.
