1.6 CL 100? a 100bhp 1.6 as standard?

I was reading a parker's used car guide thingy on the mk4 polo today.

near the end it mentions a 1.6 CL 100 - a 100bhp 1.6 with the variable intake manifold.

has anyone ever found one of these?!

The 1.6 8v that has 100BHP is the saloon model not the hatch.

aren't tall blocks generally not too good compared to their counterparts?

anyone ever transplanted one of these? are they any good?!

Because it is a tall block, it wont fit
