and it's so nippy compared to my bird's 8v - I was grinning driving it back up to Brum on the motorway! it's not so bad going from the 16v to 8v because you can drive the 8v's flat out and it's a bit of fun, it just lacks the punch to overtake when you really need it. but going the other way is a real eye opener!

just thought I'd share that with you all

p.s. I'd been using the bird's motor to do a lot of miles in - so she had mine for the last 2 weeks.

Cool to hear you're still driving those Polos David. Every time I drive mine I smile - I guess I don't drive it often enough.
