Hmmmm as soon as see the word fuelsaver I think......Ajit_mk2_16v wrote:I've been quoted £45 all in for Firestone TZ200 Fuel Saver for 185/55/R14 which is the best so far. Thats from Martins Tyres off the M3, Surrey
- Very little tread in contact with the road (so less rolling resistance)
- very hard compound (ditto)
And to be honest apart from the crappy firestones that came free with a set of 13 inch alloys I've never found them any good at all
There is only five things holding you car on the road at any time
1. Gravity
4 x Tyres
To me gravity is a constant I can rely on it I want tyres that I can trust too

how the story ends
I got a pair of Firestone TZ200 from Bracknell tyres.
The ride is now excellent, so much better than before.
However, my track rod end bolts have sized and need replacing in order to do the tracking
Is that a job i can do myself or is it a garage visit???
