hiya everybody

Post by Barney »

As you've probably guessed i am new to this forum and forums in general, i own an R reg polo 1.4cl, in purple. (a drunk friend once cristened the car as the barney bus so the name has just stuck).

If i knew how i'd add a picture of my car and how i want it to look but with me working part time and having just finished college funds are low so its a long term project

So far i have added some 15 inch alloys, clear front indicators, de-badged and made a custom parcel shelf with an amplified ten inch sub mounted on top, future plans include lowering springs, exhaust/back box and maybe some wheel spacers to give it a fat look.

I've just read that it can take upto 48 hours -bummer- anyway,
Im thinking about adding wheel spacers as i mentioned above, has anyone done this after lowwering 40mm, cos my dad, who always tries to spoil my fun says that it could drastically alter the handling, does anyone have any advice, or recommended spacer widths

ive got a mate who put spacers on his 4x4 because the turning circle was so crap (Nirvara 2.5TDi) So i guess his handling is better as a result - well, as far as turning is concerned. I wouldnt have thought that the handling would change much, if at all.

Not my style, but polos always look good low and with wheels filling the arches.
Keep it up pal! :)
