Angel Eyes?

Post by bluebaron »

What do people think to them?
Do you prefer GTI headlights?
Anyone know where to get a pair for a decent price?

I can't decide between the two and I'm bored of my std headlights.

I like them, and im gona invest in some myself. I dont prefer them to the GTi's xenon headlights but i think there a decent alternative to them.

Here's a link with them on, there in clear and black, someone will probably find em cheaper....

If I didn't have a GTi already, the angel eye headlights would have been on my shopping list for the Polo. If done tastefully they look 8)

Dammit I knew there was something different about your lights when I saw the pictures from Inters, but couldn't put my finger on it - nice work 8) 8)

I changed mine to GTi Lights, and I like em, I like em a lot.

Mine are made from a mixture of parts. The ballasts are from VAG parts The bulbs are from somewhere else. And I had to modify the connectors for the hella connectors to fit the bulbs.

The following is optional, but worth it if you don't want to take the headlamps off every MOT.

Built an ultrasonic device that measures the distance to the road and corrects the headlamp level, looks identical to a BMW leveling unit, and works even better since I wrote the code.

Coded headlamp washer jets. Doesn't matter how well they work as long as they are fitted. Its a simple circuit, basically, if the headlights are on and you use the screen wash then wash the lamps too.

Both these mods are mandatory requirements, but still not legal, though technically, it meets the requirements.
