I think Im gonna try find a Polo GTI, so I can see it in the flesh, tempted on it, but am not sure yet, not 100% anyway, perhaps 70 hehe

polosilver / anyone - how is the centre honeycomb grille fitted / old one removed???

im going to order the other grilles but am not sure on how to do the lower centre one

I'm not sure hows its supposed to be done properly but i used a metal ruler to slide in the top. The grill pulls out towards you. There is about 4 clips on the top and bottom once you get the first one unlatched it gets easier.

Once you get the old one out the new one just pops in

For me it took a bit of force but i did it eventually. There is probably an easier way tho.

The piece below the front bumper, usually in plastic.
The Gti one is the most commonest, wheres i have the Reiger one.
Both are standard replacements for the tiny plastic lip on lower models.
