which head unit

looking to upgrade the polo head unit to fit an amp

would u go for the vw sat nav that was an option on the poloor

this pioneer dvd head unit AVH-P5700dvd: its touch screeen and has nav

by the wway as the screen of these sat navs fold out will i have an akward view due to the positioning of the radio system slot as its angled upwards?

You can adjust the tilt on the screens so you can have it vertical or however you find it most comfortable for viewing.

I personally prefer the look of the VW sat nav, i've got it in mine, but the Pioneer posted above does look really nice.

I'd say the VW OEM option too, although that Pioneer looks mighty tasty and full of great features

You could mount in the top DIN spot if that helps viewing? although it should have some play to allow perfect viewing as mentioned by tom_mk5

That Pioneer looks really god, I havnt seen the VW one, so couldnt say.

Does anyone have any pics of the Vw one and a price for it, plz

Lol aye, I leave the tray open because I dump my phone in there when i'm driving. Could really do with a cradle.:D

Why not bung it in the tray just above the heater dials? My SE K750i sits in there just perfect, and so far so good, hasn't fallen out whilst driving :P

by the way is it true can wire an amp to the vw sat nav i have to amps by the way
also does it play dvds
