looking to upgrade the polo head unit to fit an amp
would u go for the vw sat nav that was an option on the poloor
this pioneer dvd head unit AVH-P5700dvd: its touch screeen and has nav
by the wway as the screen of these sat navs fold out will i have an akward view due to the positioning of the radio system slot as its angled upwards?

You can adjust the tilt on the screens so you can have it vertical or however you find it most comfortable for viewing.
I personally prefer the look of the VW sat nav, i've got it in mine, but the Pioneer posted above does look really nice.

I'd say the VW OEM option too, although that Pioneer looks mighty tasty and full of great features
You could mount in the top DIN spot if that helps viewing? although it should have some play to allow perfect viewing as mentioned by tom_mk5

You can probably see why I prefer the look of VW OEM.

Lol aye, I leave the tray open because I dump my phone in there when i'm driving. Could really do with a cradle.

Why not bung it in the tray just above the heater dials? My SE K750i sits in there just perfect, and so far so good, hasn't fallen out whilst driving

Because unfortunately I own a Nokia 6630 which many might say resembles the average breeze block.
