right probably a bit of a novice question but when the guy did my new springs and shocks on a few weeks ago,he didnt put the rubber corrigated $hit cover things off my standard shocks onto my new ones,(cover the rods)does this make a difference or not,he seemed to think not,.any help appreciated kids.cheers

The covers are there to prolong the life of the shock absorbers. They keep dirt and rocks off the inner shaft, so the seal stays better for longer. Now that I think of it, my KW's may not have this at all; never bothered me much to be honest. (Could be wrong though!)
