Thieving Gits have robbed my

new stubby Aerial.

WTF are people like who steal car aerials. I really do not understand what people would want with car aerials. My car was in a car park where theres always people wondering around, and surely someone will have seen the t**t who has robbed my aerial.

I don't know about any of you lot, but if i saw someone tinkering with a car aerial, i'd stay and observe whether that person actually owned the car. If not i think i would say somet.

I'm so pissed off. £18.50 of my well earned cash in someone elses pocket or on their car.

how f*****g annoying!

The worst thing is that it probably won't fit their car (if they actually own one) and they'll chuck it away. I'm convinced people steal them just to p*** you off...

I've put mine on with threadlocker, but i doubt that will stop someone for more than a couple of seconds.

Gutted :(

I have to admit I feel I've been lucky that no-one has made off with any of the aerials that have been fitted to my Polo over the last year or so, especially the Richbrook one, those are usually a target for casual chav crime :?

Every time I come back to the car in a car park or supermarket, I nearly always glance at the aerial to see that it is still there... what can you do to stop people taking them though?

I've never had an aerial stolen, but vandals have bent every one of them (90º angle or worse, "artistic" twists). Needless to say, the aerial never goes back to the normal shape completely.

i think its more people who don't drive and have no respect for people who have worked hard to buy themselves a decent car.

connect a theramin to it so it makes an increasingly loud and high pitched noise the closer something gets to touching it....... both a deterrent to scallies (especially if it sets the alarm off on actual contact) but may turn many a drunks desire to maim the aerial into one of musical delight.

plus it will also provide electrification....

Someone stole my standard beesting aerial from my Cordoba. The thing they also did was knacker up the base so it wouldn't accept any new masts.

I had to buy a new base and mast from Hellfrauds and I have not been able to get radio since. The thing that pissed me off most was that when changing the base, it took a huge chunk of paint off my roof, so that is now black taped up!

someone half inched my silver tyre valve caps, they were only about 8 quid but still.....
thankfully my shortened aerial hasn't been touched, maybe because its not silver/chrome
Chavs seem to have an eye for things shiney
i mean you've only gotta look at their cars...chrome wing mirrors, chrome window wiper covers

I have never had an aerial stolen from my car - but then my anti theft precaution may be deemed as slightly extreme.......

Unless my car is in the Garage (very rare), at work (secure compound) or where I can see it for the duration of my stay - I remove it (the aerial) along with the stereo face plate - I am deliberate about it too and keep aerial and faceplate box in my hands as I walk away from the car (if the little scroats are watching at least they know I haven't put it in the glove box).

I have only left the faceplate on the stereo once and that was when the car was broken into and the stereo stolen.... Lesson learnt the hard way and I'll never do that again.

The other half thinks I am totaly mad and the car does look cack without an aerial on the roof but it only takes 2 secs to spin off and spin on so I'm happy to do this
