UK-POLO's south east meet feeler

Post by SpikeyG40 »

hey everyone

as has been mentioned before, people are after a summer south east meet. the idea of this is great but finding a place where we can go, chill out and have bbq's etc. has not been going well

however, i have an idea! who would fancy having a day out to Margate?

the idea would be, we meet up somewhere, then go for an early cruise around, park up along palm bay seafront (just a bit further up to margate) where there is a huuuuuge amount of parking where we can line all the cars up, with a big grass area behind where we can chillout, sunbath, have a kick around and i asume have bbq's!

who would be interested in this? i have not set a date yet but i would be hoping for a nice sunny sunday!

place your thoughts here please!

regards

Yep, it's the one that's over four hours away from me :( if it had been closer I'd have made the trip cross-country, after reading the reports from the last meet a follow-up sounds like a bubble. Hope you all have a good'un 8)

Depends on when...... but I reckon she'll struggle to do much damage on the credit card in Margate so I'm up for it

good response, tis what we like to see!

right, i'll get on with planning it then! the place i was planning to use i may have to ditch due to a lack of toilets! :?

however, i have found another place which should be suitable, just gotta gather some info!

i reckon the plan for the day will be, meet at a specified time somewhere in whitstable, then, once we're all there, cruise on down to thanet in convoy. once we've had a little drive, we shall venture to the park up place where we can eat and chill out!

how does that sound? of course, if u don't want to cruise round, i'll give directions straight to where we shall spend most of the day!
