Mean Streets VAG night, Sat 6th August, Essex

Right, some of you may know that I help to organise The Mean Street Cruise which is held on the first saturday night of each month from April to October at Arena Essex, Thurrock.

In August, we're having a VAG dedicated night, ie pretty much only VAG cars will be allowed through the main gate into the Paddock area and all the show and shine competitions would be VW/VAG only with special trophies for the occasion. Some other makes will be allowed through but only those who want to go on the track for timed laps and drifting. Most other cars would have to park in the outer car park.

Magazines will be invited and I hope some traders will be attending too.

The usual gate entry price is Â£10 but this is reduced to Â£5 by registering for free here http://www.meanstreetcruise.com/tickets.php beforehand and that includes competition entry and/or track time. There's also a DB drag run by MA Audio (very loud mk1) for those into their ICE although there is an extra charge for this (the only thing that costs extra other than food and drink)

For club stands, email a list of cars, reg numbers, drivers and passengers to [email protected]
We need these details for health and safety reasons, they're not passed on for anything.
Everyone on the club lists also gets in for a fiver

arena essex is just next to the thurrock services, junction 30/31 of the M25, hope that helps

VAG Drifting? that should be interesting as most are FWD (and even the Haldex equipped ones are s**t for drifting!)

cheers dino could do with the VAG support! Thought you fella's would apprecaite an all VAG night but seems like most of you dont like to travel and show off your superb motors where it can win you tropheys and cash?!?!?....
