Has anyone mentioned the tyres? look like racing slicks to me! I was also going to mention the rear wiper!

My local dealership has promised me it was going to be an FSI engine pushing out 150bhp, I wouldnt be the 2.0FSI so would they use the 1.6FSI which is in the new golf?

Tigz, I guess your right!

I thought the gti was going to be launched in the last quater of 2005, you would have thought they would have heard some details on it by now. It all seems to be speculation at the moment!

Anyone know whether its possible to get hold of the roof spoiler from the Polo Cup?

I'd say it will most definitely be 1.8T since it is tried and tested engine on this platform (ibiza).. would be more tunable also so better option IMO. I remember reading from a couple of car magazines also stating that 1.8T with 150bhp would be used..

Nah to be honest I dont think VW would give us a twin exhaust like that! I know the lupo gti had a twin exhaust but come on I think the guys at wolfsburg got confused between a pea shooter and an exhaust tail pipe! :D

I pesonally think it would be the best looking car on the road if it looked like the "polo cup". Its up there with the likes of the honda civic etc.. and I really cant see any reason for VW not to make it looking like these pictures.

Just lets hope VW dont let us down!

You mean the way the right exhaust pipe is a bit off to the centre.. I bet you could get it like that if you paid for it though. :P

0-62mph 10.8sec.. sportline 1.6 fsi 85kw 155nm..

I think it's decent performance, wouldn't call it rapid though since you really have to work it to get it moving..
