I think Top Gear is at a push the best programme on terrestrial TV, me my dad and my oldest brother dont move at all for an hour, and as for the Stig - he is amazing, the way him (well and Clarkson) were handling those M5's in the wet  I'd have slid on the first corner!

one word for it LEGEND

i was thinking more of the Icelandic thing (take land vehicles. make them go over water. UNMODIFIED) rather than the buggies, but they were damn cool too - get the feeling that the article was trimmed quite a bit though? About half of the buggy things featured in the first aerial shot didn't make it in...

Quite fancy getting a secondhand QPod (ebay?) and putting beefier engine in though :D

do we think Mark thingyname (the williams guy... a bit immemorable ) is actually the stig then?

I just want to see the Stig go round the Track, see how quick he does it.

1:43 dry

actually he did it the once, in that car, and regularly does anyway to show the guests how to do it, but we rarely get a repeat showing of that. his time is on that board at the top im sure of it

...mind you, we say "he" ... what if the stig turns out to be the Alluringly Teutonic Bombshell? :D (she can drive my transit any day lol)
it would certainly explain the taste in music

Nah, he's not Damon Hill. Damon Hill himself has actually said it's not him and he can't understand why everyone thinks it is  Everyone thought he was the old stig as well, but that turned out to be some bloke called Percy (I think).
