16" wheels and lowered about 50mm... looks awesome! To behonst, with 17" wheels you need a very low profile and so the ride is VERY s**t and hard. I hit a pot hole@ 60mph with 17" wheels in my last polo and it was like dropping the car off a f*****g building...
Seriously, go for 16" or you will loose any comfort the polo has!

i just put some 205-17 on mine doesnt rub at all but suspension is standard (for now) the offset seem the same the wheels sit right under the arch how much could i drop it without problems as iv been throught all that arch biz before and cant be asked seems odd asking if 17s will fit when i had 19s on my nk4 turbo an remmber asking if 20s would fit any way nuf of that cheers guys.
