swapping drums for discs

i have a 1.2 9n and i am getting some 18" and have been told i need to uprate my drums to discs, but does anyone know where to shop? also i don't really want to see those horrid rusty drums through the wheels.

you gotta be joking about the 18" wheels

15" is a sensible size for a small car. then it wont thrape your top speed or acceleration.


as for a rear disk conversion im not 100% on this but i belive you need the rear beam and all the bits with it.

i think the Seat Ibiza beam is a direct swap. for the mk4 polo but once again im not 100%

no i decided against it and went with 17" as it looks mint, and mine is a mk 5 polo (9N) not mk4

you must be joking 15's they look daft in such a big arch

No point doing disks on the rear as 90% of braking is on the front.

I have 13's on my polo and they dont look tiny of a big arch.

Mind you its lowered and with 17's i would have the 4x4 look and slow right down, but whatever floats your boat

too rite!.. 19s fit btw (on mk6 aka 9N)
