hey guys i wanna do the flip key conversion. tried 2 dismantle my key but i dunno how 2 remove the actual metal key and the imobaliser chip :oops: can any1 giv me a hand with how 2 do it? also i was wonderin where 2 find a flip key? wat 1 do i use? x

You can't get the metal bit out of your current key very easily, so I would buy a blank switchblade if I were you and get it cut. The immobiliser chip is a small rectangular style block into the top side of the key as you're looking down on it. Just get a compass or similar and prize it out.

It's a VW 2 button flip key you're after ideally.

cool thanx, erm where do i get the blank from n where 2 get it cut? also whwer ca i get the flip key from n what alarm can i fit 2 the car that will fit in the flip key?
srooy about all this but i really want 1 lol, my mums got a mercedes n i always play wiv it lol its like lil sword :lol: x

hey guys i got a 3 button flip key 2day from a scrappy :D , its in mint condition 2 but the best thing is that i got it for £10!!!! i'm sooooo chufed :lol: hehe x
