Grinning like a cheshire cat I am, I got a metallic green 1.4 3door. It's R reg, full VW service history, done 60,000 miles, and its got blacked out windows. I even printed off the mk4 buying guide which I found on this website, and it all checked out, no problems whatsoever. It's pretty nippy aswell, I thought a 1.4 would be slower than that, but I suppose compared to a metro anything would feel quick. All i need now is compomotive RL's, coilovers, a stereo and some clear indicators, and I'll be sorted.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know, I'm off for a drive now...
