If I get my car back by then I'll be going. I don't think I could face going to a polo only show in a Rover! :(

Josh
Nick and I will be going for the weekend. I don't know if he is bringing his car but mine is going on 'porka' on the Saturday. I'm not sure on the Sunday, so would be best not to put us on the list as definates.
Wouldn't want to take a place from somebody else :) .

Sorry but I've never been to one of these before and was wondering if any of you guys would be kind enough to enlighten me as to what the event is about...especially what the term 'show and shine' means...does it mean literally..show your motor...and shine/polish it? And do you have to have a modded Polo to put on the stand?

I heard Josh mention that you can camp there...I'm a sucker for my cleanliness so do they provide showers etc... What is there to do in the evenings? Pub? Shows?

I'm giving it some thought, I do have something planned that weekend but I think I may have to pass that way so thinking of popping in to check out what all the fuss is about...heh heh! Cheers!

its basically a huge meeting of the best polos in the uk.
show and shine is where you spend ages cleaning your car and then show it off for the weekend (of just a day)
he mentiones a hotel with 44 en suite rooms
about standard polos on the stand? im not sure but i assume so however ill let josh chime in on that
and if your passing by it would be a crime not to visit, you cant spend a better fiver (unless your by the docks ;) :P )

Standard cars are MORE than welcome!

I'm pretty sure there will be showers on site, as it is a proper camp site.

Get yourself down!

:D

And remember that even if you don't want to put your car on the stand, come along anyway as it's all in one field, so it's just going to be one big polofest!

The more the merrier! Come on people, let's get this together!!

Cyhliu, Harry, Any of the other GTi owners on here... Come on down and stick your motors on the stand! We'll have a little GTi section!

And everyone else, stop making exuses and get your bad selves down!
