boot doors

Post by A11XLG »

Where i have had speakers built on to boot door, it is now so heavy that it doesn' stay open very long.

Was just wondering if anyone knew where i could get stronger Struts (I think thats what they are called) from??

Thanks

Yes, they are struts. Might be worth asking VAGParts to see if, say, teh Golf boot struts are compatible and if they're stronger? I'm basing this on the fact that a Golf boot would be heavier than a Polo boot

was talking to dubpolo bout this very subject today! golf one's wont fit other wise we'd both be using R32 struts now...

i've got a set of chrome/ polished struts for a MK4/ 6N polo which are strong, too strong really for jus a standard car... might be what you're after!?

i got them from a stand at a show but couldnt tell you who it was... the brand was INXX i think!?!

hope this helps...
