Thats the kind of sh*t that should come with a health warning - you get too close to that and, seriously, it's going to cause bodily harm. Don't even think of touching it. 12kW of peak output is more electricity than most people ever simultaneously use ... we're talking sixteen horsepower. You'll have to set your engine at a 2000rpm idle just to run it.
i bet the club i work in has less woofer power than that, and you can fit 1000 people in when the going's good! (and do yourself hearing damage without earplugs.....)
mind you, what a way to go, you'll be buzzing your t*ts off...
(literally?)
I think it would probably destroy most cars smaller and less solidly built than the average rap stars SUV! Remember the Hitchiker's Guide, and Disaster Area? Best listened to at a distance of 10 metres or more...
still sounds like a lot, particularly when banging away 50 times a second or so and packing a lot of horses behind it - i imagine it'd be akin to cutting away the head over one cylinder of an engine and trying to touch the piston whilst it was running
a big engine, for the five-inch job! That's an awful lot of peak pressure ... and should make for some cracking looooow bass as well if its got enough weight on, as its natural oscillation period will be a lot longer.
Yeah should be good. Thing I found with the Polo was it rattled a bit if I had it cranked up full and I even had a load of sound deadening in the boot, rear quarters and doors. When I get my next car i've got quite a system planned...
ive got a little of a boot layout in my car at the moment, but keep your eyes peeled, because im planning the loudest, but best sound quality system you kids have heard in a long time,i know its a big claim.
