Doesn't suprise me to be honest. VW know they have a good name and are relying on it far too much now, they're getting slack. About time they realised that they now actually have some rivals and need to pull themselves together..

Yeah, I agree, the older ones seem to last longer and have less problems...because there is less electrical gremlins to go wrong!

i thought they were quite happily on their way by the time the 9n came out... all that business about the gearboxes n so on
