Lupo GTi alloys onto a Polo GTi?

Post by Si_GTi »

Quite simply, will the 15" Bathursts fitted to the Lupo GTi also fit a Polo GTi? I understand they are wider than my BBS alloys (they come fitted with 205/45/15 tyres as standard I think - perhaps someone could inform me exactly how wide the Bathurst rims are?). Perhaps if fitted with 195-profile tyres they might just squeeze in...

Thoughts?

Thanks chap, there's a set up for sale very close to me but it's a question of funding and if they'll fit! I think they'd make nice replacements for the BBS rims but we'll see.

Cheers

Can't afford them right now though, I have a TV, MOT and car insurance to pay for over the next month :( but they're on my "to-do" list haha! I'll have to ask someone to photoshop them onto my car for me instead :P

I reckon it looks good, certainly makes a change from bbs while keeping it oem. 8)

What offset are the Polo GTi alloys?
The Lupo GTi alloys are a 43mm offset.

Thanks for the advice guys. If/when I decide to make a change it will probably be a permanent one and the BBS wheels would be sold off to help fund the changeover... possibly. Depends on next years' bonus at work :P

Phill, plenty of high-res (1600*1200) images here for you to play with, be my guest :D and you can also find the Lupo images here

Cheers!

That looks really good lowered with the Lupo alloys. IMO

How much does a set of these alloys cost.

My purchase some soon if there not overly expensive.

I'm not sure on cost. A guy on clublupo is selling his mint Bathursts and is open to offers, I would guess that something between £300-400 might secure them?

In May next year I will get some Eibach SportLines :D and that should help with the lowering 8)

I can certainly recommend the Eibach Sportline springs for sure, they are perfect for the gti imo... cannot tell the car is touched, ride wise and the corning is improved!
