6n 16v Brakes
i think my discs and pads have seen better days as i am getting a bit of a virbation through the steering wheel/brake pedal under braking and when braking at a slow speed i can feel the brake kind of braking more then less then more as if the disk is warped. so i guess its time for new discs and pads!! any recomendations??

Brake Stuff
As far as pads go, I like Pagid Fast Road ones. Not too expensive (should be about £35), plenty of bite from cold and good enough fade resistance for all but the most unhinged of road use!
In my experience I wouldn't touch Green Stuff either...
As for discs, I've not needed any for the Polo yet, but I had some ATE Power Discs on the 306 and they took whatever I threw at them. Funny looking grooves, but a good disc in my opinion and again fairly cheap from Euro Car Parts. Have heard good things about the Brembo Max ones too, but have no first hand experience.
Well that's my thoughts, for what they're worth, hope it's some help.

Now then Windey.
GSF part number 64520F £29 +vat. Make sure you they give you the Fast Road ones, because they gave me the normal ones at the first time of asking (same part number, but without the F on the end - an easy mistake I suppose)
Just in case anyone's interested, since my last post I've swapped my standard discs for the Brembo Max grooved ones too. Not much point in a comparison because my old ones were scary thin
, but I'm very happy with the way it stops now. The jury seems to be out on how much difference the grooves make, but they seem a well made disc, they're taking the abuse (so far) and any improvement's better than none, right?
