intermitant front wiper

i have just found out that my front wiper when i switch it to intermitant does not work, i have tried different things but carn't get it to work.

has anyone else suffered.

suppose it will get looked at when they replace my suspension as that is making a clunking noise.

and hope i get a courtesy car like the guy in another post did. that would be mint
