Just installed my rims today, but i have noticed slight creaking, and when you drive you sometimes also hear a noise that sounds like stones hitting the side of the body when your accelerating, (i assume this is as i describe, just actual stones hitting the body) because they are deep dish and stick out a bit (ET30 i think and 7in). Im assuming this is not a problem.
The slight creaking im not sure why?!? can any1 shed light on this, The PCD is correct, im quite sure ive used the right bolts and they are fairly tight on. Only one thing, the central spigot when i measured it with a accurate ruler it was 57.1.
Although when i put them on without the bolts the wheel was NOT tightly held in, if the bore of the wheels is exact shouldnt it fit very tightly, or is it meant to be looseish, sort of just very breifly resting on it?!? i mean it didnt require any force to put them on or and movement up or down i dont think anyways. if i take a center cap off and see a gap between the spigot and the wheel bore that means they need spigot rings right?
Help please
Rim noise?!? HELP NEEDED!!!!
