It's gone..

Post by tom_mk5 »

Well it's finally gone,

Just seen the Mk5 drive off down the road- very sad to see it go as it's been a really excellent first car, not had a single problem with it and i've loved it to bits. The fact they left me a very princely sum of cash behind and a new car is just around the corner has helped console me.

I'll still be around these parts- there'll always be a bit of love for the mk5 still left in me yet...;)

Mk5 Golf, or possibly an A3.

We'll see what comes up first.

I was very close to going for a non-VAG car at one point due to my local dealer being a complete twonk about doing a deal. So went to another dealership and they got me a cracking deal on a Golf so it's ordered and will be with me shortly.:)

It just got to the point where the car was showing signs of age. Absolutely great car don't get me wrong but when a few things started niggling it hit my that I might be landed with a few large bills in the not too distant future with not much to show for it.

Golf coming soon...;)

It's a 54 plate 1.6 SE FSI with 4k on the clock, full Votex kit, metallic black, 6 disc cd, arm rest, trip computer etc. Pics when it comes.
