I AM PLANNING ON LOWERING MY POLO 16 V 40MM AND HAVE LOOKED AT FK SPRINGS AND EIBACH THIER IS ABOUT £40 POUNDS DIFFERENCE IN PRICES I HAVE BEEN QUOTED EIBACH BEING THE MORE EXPENSIVE.
I WONDERED IF THIER IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE RIDE COMFORT BETWEEN THE TWO.
IF YOU HAVE ANY OPINIONS ON WHICH ARE THE BETTER I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU LETTING ME KNOW YOUR VIEWS.
I got Eibach sportline springs, they are about £120. The ride quality is very good, i couldnt tell they had been fitted. Cornering is also improved. I think these are the best springs, dont get the Eibach Pro Springs, they are s**t!
Also goin to recommend Eibach sportline springs to you chap...me n polosilver talked alot about this over the last 6 months as he did have the Pro kit on previous one
Cornering is ace, really tight, not much body roll and cuts out lift from aceleration n braking

PI springs are ok, nothing to sing and dance about, entry level springs. They dont come close to Eibach. Eibach sportlines are £125 and your looking @ £70 fitting from a local garage or kwik fit. Thats £195... worth the extra!
Man you gotta go 50mm, it only really lowers the car about 30mm. So a good way to judge it is see how many fingers you can fit into the arch sideways then think of a finger as 10mm. i could fit 4 fingers so i got 50mm kit, lowered it 30mm ish leaving a finger gap in the arch. I wanted to keep the same gap all the way arround the arch.
