fuel /tyre pressure

2 Questions really.

! Which fuel do you guys favour I am referring to brand.

2 I will be doing a couple of 1000 miles including motorway driving

next week. should i increase my tyre pressures.and if so by how much

1995 N Reg vw polo 175/65/r 13 tyres.

I tend to use Shell Optimax 99.9% of the time, superb stuff. Since the petrol prices have risen, im now using Esso. They tend to filter the standard petrol better, and ive also noticed that i get better fuel economy as well as noticing a slight difference in engine response!

Optimax is top though

As for air, i reckon it shouldn't make much difference. I'd just keep it 31psi upfront and 30-31psi in the rear.
