IMMOBILSERS? ALARMS

DOES NE1 KNOW IF MY MK4 CL ( 97) POLO HAS A IMMOBILISER FITTED AS STANDARD, ALSO DOES NE1 NO OF WHERE I CAN GET A CAT 1 ALARM FITTED FOR AROUND 250 OR LESS??? (P.S I LIVE IN LONDON)

hmmm, I think the pre-98 models didn't have a transponder setup in their key (i.e. immobiliser)

but I'm only guessing mate

cat1 for 250 - you should be able to do it.... just surf on the web. It's definitely no more than 300 for a Toad or METASYSTEM cat1 one.

i got a 96 polo which already had an immob/alarm obviously not as standard.
You can get imm/alarm quiete cheap these days but it wont be like clifford but it will do a job. I think I seen some standard alarm for as little as 70quid. Fitting will cost a fair bit tho. But I think 150-200inc labour cost you can get it for.
