Does anyone know what type of port and where it is on the 96 Polo. 1.4cl aex. I have seen the software on ebay. Anybody else diagnosed there own problems or is it best to leave it to the pros?
On this Polo there is OBDII cnnector (only connector, no OBDII support) with ISO 9141 protocol.
It is located near the fuses (under the driving wheel) or atleast thats where I have it on my LHD car
About self-diagnose, its like everything else: is it good to service the car by your self or not? How about engine overhaul? If you know how to and have the tools and the time than why not?
