I NEED A GEARBOX

RIGHT, thats it, iv had enough of this Gearbox crap!!

iv had my box for 120K and for sum reason 4th gear went, and didnt go into gear, jus Grinded like fook, sooooooo

i got my slef a 5 speed box, a week later it blows!!!

now i jus bought another box 4-speed, and it dun fookin work eitha, its a REAL early box and the thrust didnt seem right, but thought it mite settle once on the car, BUT NO..... take my foot off the clucth and it JUS bites, so i put my foot down a little, and it seems as if im riding the clutch, but my foot is off the clutch! SO

im a little pissed and i NEED YET another box,

LATE MK2, 1989 1.0 4 speed!

If the clutch isn't biting properly, surely that's more likely to be the clutch cable adjustment than the gearbox? I can't think of anything in the box that would slip like that.

yeah sounds like a problem with the interfaces between the gearbox and engine- hopefully its just your clutch that needs adjusting. Get some pickies up of your car kris, looks mint now that its done

it mite be the fact that i had to modify the DAM thrust bearing arm to fit my thrust, its COOKIN ME !!

its a BRAND new Clutch, i went to weston, and around Swansea for a few days and thats it,

my father and his Mate recon that the clutch is burnt out, but i dun understand that as i smelt nothing, and the 5 speed with the clutch felt right!

jus WELL hacked off, iv had the car painted, lookin like i want it, and now the bloody thing wont move! tipical!
