Looking at the bell housing, where the clutch is, is there meant to be a bung in the top? I think I can actually see the clutch. If you can see the clutch that is quite neat - but I would have to get a bung otherwise it could get contaminated.
i know mines not a 6n2 but on mine i had the same thing i had to order a plastic bung thing from vag to. Does it look as if it has a thread on the inside on the hole ?
I can see the thing you refer to on ETKA, but I am not sure its the same thing. Will have to poke my head under the bonnet again. If it is open, then I would say it needs the bung because the last thing you want is oil getting in there.
is it like a white plastic plug with a hexagon shaped hole in the middle? if so it should have a bung in it, I noticed mine had popped out but it was still attached
Yes, in the picture is the nylon plug, but in the middle there should be a stopper. Its strange looking nylon thing with two handles that you use to unclip it. Check that its not floating around, because between the nylon hex thing in that pic and the box there is a retainer and mine was on that but not plugged in. You will need a dentists mirror to find it! However, VW say its not always fitted, especially on fridays.
hey hope this helps. I was out poking around looking for my MAP sensor and found that i could see my clutch internals too! Placed the black bung back in it tho>
Should look like this....

You could probably DIY it i think with something like the top from most nail varnish bottles ( dont ask ) these usually have retaining stoppers in new bottles.
