breadvan rear window cover thingy

thurr a bit ugly arent they?!?! that black plastic thing surrounding the rear window. thinkin of maybe paintin it....or even gettin rid and smoothin the boot lid. anyone got any ideas of what will look good?? any old examples??? cheers 8)

Lots of breadvans didn't come with them fitted, so your best bet would just be to get a tailgate off one of them rather than smoothing and respraying your tailgate. Tbh I think it actually looks worse without the 'spoiler', although I guess that's a matter of opinion..

Mine didn't come with one (A-reg). Only reason I fitted it is to cover the holes in the bootlid :?

Seems to suit quite well now I've got the Mk3 rear bumper on now though.

polo kris is that a mk3 bumper??? or is it a kit???? quite like it. yer a were thinkin of just colour codin it....bt al prob neva get round to it so prob jus gon leave it fer a while nw. need sort them strut top mounts out........... :oops:

yee, they are MK3 original G40 bumpers my friend! :D dont do kits! :wink: that aint no way to treat a DUB! :P

i had the black spoiler, and ask Zombie, i was soooo torn between painting it and having another hatch, but im glad i painted the "spoiler" now, looks the dogs i say! :D

to be honest I'm not a fan of the tailgate spoiler but that painted one looks awesome.

I always prefered the look of it without but that one may just change my opinion
