mk5 Lowering

Ok - Ive got the springs and ive got spring compressors.

How hard is it to do it myself :D

Take old off, put new ones on old shokies.

Anyone done it urself ?

it's fairly easy if you have the right tools...the only dodgy bit is the spring compressors, you have to watch they are sitting in them right or they'll ping out and possibly take your head off your shoulders

yeh spring compressors, are the worst bit, lol, my mate came in to my old garage i worked in, he had reault clio 1.8, and the shocks had bent and we couldnt get the spring out, so he went in to a large open area and angle grinded the top of the strut almost took his hand off lol
