Some Photos...Feedback Required

Post by DScape »

Hey all! If you seen/replied to my thread on coilovers, you'd know that I bought some and now they're finally fitted!

ImageImageImageImage

I think this month I'll get something cheaper, but not sure what really. I think some light smoke window tints? Future plans, I really need to tint the rears, the 16V ones dont look all that good with the rims and side repeators...same goes for the indicators, they look green! Brakes are a must, any recommendations? Beesting, arch rolling & flaring too...

Any comments and feedback welcome! If anyone has any brake recomendations, rough arch rolling prices or anything else please feel free to let me know 8) Maybe induction kits as well, I know what exhaust I'm getting in the future so thats covered! 8)

Cheers all !

Thanks for the comments guys 8)

Defo getting light smoke tints, like you said too dark will look tacky!

For some strange reason I've always wanted a scorpion or piper exhaust...even when I couldnt drive! :?

Currently looking to get the Scorpion Boxer, I know it's been done to death but I really like the letterbox stylee exhausts! Mine isn't a 16V I'm afraid just a 1.3 single point

I'd quite like to keep this for a long time, if I do then a possible engine drop might be in order for the future...talking years though!

Come a long way since this...

Really a good lookin' Polo, very nice car!

But got a question, what make/type rims do you have under your Polo? They look awesome!

Those are the black wolfrace octane's mate 15" or 17" avalible - on the right car they look magic and Dscape car is a fine example

Thanks you 2 8)

Yup they're 15" Wolfrace Street Octanes, cheapest place I found them was....

http://www.rtecshop.com/?p=browse&category=245

If anyone knows of any really dark front indicators, let me know! Or shall I spray them? I'm tempted to spray both my standard rears and indicators that are lying around in my room...they need to be black!

This month I'm looking pretty much broke...so small mods, light tinting, caliper/drum painting and thats about it

Although you never know !

Thanks for the info guys!

@ DScape: could you help me out? could you please take picture from your polo like this?:

Then I can make a lil' photoshop edit, to see how it will look. I'm curious how black rims will look (in combination with dark tintd windows, and new dark head, and taillights of course  )

Thanks!

@ Jarno - Yes mate, I will get onto it soon and post the photo on here....then you can all see how un-colour coordinated my lights are

Cheers DP, I've always loved black rims and had to get them ASA! Very please with them, and I think the only change I'd make is the centre caps :)

Car is looking well smart, what you're saying about the rear lights, would u not try some 6n2 rear's? even a bit smoked just to be different!?

Lovely job so far! :D

i wouldn't go for the MK5 lights on this colour car... may look abit weard! :?

Black LED's or compleat aftermarket smoke, i wouldn't do it yourself as it's very hard to get a good finish!

Don';t mind, take your time, cool enough taht you are willing to do it for me

But I think mk5 rearlights will look awesome on your polo, esspecially because they will be the only thing that's red on your Polo, which will maken them stand out more --> which would give very pretty results

but he, in the end it's your call/car
