Induction Kit for Gti?

i am after a k&n 57i induction for my polo gti, but i am confused as which one i will need as the airbox is different and the normal filter cone for example will not fit am i right?

Its not a filter cone as such . Its like a squashed on. I have a k&n 57i on my gti and it goes well now!! get one bought

Get a BMC mate. They're a bit more expensive but are miles better. Sound nice all the way through the revs and give better performance aswell.

Its the choice of champions. :oops:

same as above mate, BMC's heat shielded so not jus sucking hot air off the top so your block!

you'll find most GTi owners prefer them :wink:

is the BMC filter for a Lupo GTi the same as the one for the Polo GTi? I cant find a site that sells them for the Polo GTi

do inductions kits make a noticable diffrence? my gti struggles to pull away from 1.3 colt sports in 1st and 2nd gear and struggles to go over ahem 120mph. Noticed that my oil is about 10mm over the second kink on the dip stick, could this be my problem?? it was VW who changed my oil so im assuming that isnt a problem, but who knows?

that sounds strange mate, you shouldn't struggle against something that small, i never really have... and 120mph?! i've had mine past 130 before no probs... as for the oil tho not sure if that would contribute??

checked the oil wen it was hot, checked it this morning when it was cold and its fine.gonna replace the HT leads and get an induction kit, hopefully this will solve my issues!
