I can see why it's so high, being group 10 it's going to cost you, no matter how much you shop around. with 40% discount when I was 25 the valver was going to cost me about 900 quid from tesco. so that's about 1700 with no no claims - and I was 25 with 9 years experience, with a garaged car.

a 500 quid volvo on insurance group 16 is going to cost you about 4k to insure - they really don't care about the value of the car. it's more the value of the people you might hit, or the hospital / legal bills when you cripple someone in an accident......

sorry to keep asking but can anyone tell me whether the instructions for changing the springs in the haynes manual are going to be the same for the 16v, or are gas shocks going to mean that its going to be completely different??

I've ordered 50mm GMax Springs from www.candrenterprises.co.uk, but once the order had been processed it said they would post within 21 days, i was under the impression it would only take a week or so! O well, as soon as they are fitted some pics will be uploaded and posted on here!
