Badge

Post by ModifiedMadness »

I've also posted this in GTi.

How does the VW Grille badge come out on the 6n2 GTi? I need to fit my black one received today .

Cheers

It's clipped in mate.

Take the grille off and look at it from the back, there's a number of clips all the way around, you'll need a couple of flathead screwdrivers to prize them out. Easy to do though.:)

So the grille has to come out in order to remove the badge? Is it just a case of a couple of screws?

Grille is clipped in also. There are four clips along the top of the grille when you open the bonnet, just pop these out of line and it'll come out. Then you can work on the badge.

Done and dusted, looks pretty stealth now. Took me longer to fiddle about and get the old badge out than it did to take out the grille and put it back with the new badge in.
