WILL R32 BRAKES FIT A 2005 POLO GT TDI

hi can any one help i have the chance to buy a full set of golf R32 brakes front and rear im wanting to know if they will fit my polo gt tdi thanks

Dont quote me on this, but I think you should be able to as the GT has the same hubs as the Fabia VRs.

How much are they going to set you back?

been offered them for Â£400 for calipers , carriers , pads , and disks , not sure if this is a good price or not

the fronts will fit as i have had them on mine before, you will need different caliper carriers for the rears but they will all fit

buying the replacements when they are worn out aint gonna be cheap mind

have ya checked the prices out

if your keeping the car for a while i would go for brembos

the R32 brakes were not that much betta than my TT brakes that are on now

from a fwd vag car with vented discs = mk4 golf anniversary, cupra r, etc

thanks checked prices for them discs are 75 plus vat and pads are 65 these prices are cost from vw

TT/S3 312mm brakes are more than enough. I have the S3 setup on my Ibiza PD130 and it is superb. All you need are the TT/S3 calipers, carriers, discs and pads.

I'm sure Josh_PoloGTI will also agree, since he has this setup on his Fabia vRS.

i dont think there will be mouch drifference in braking R32 brakes are 334 mm with twin piston calipers only thinking about them as ive been offered them as a job lot

My S3 setup cost me Â£87 from eBay

Oh and you don't need to change the rear brakes. The rears only do about 15% of the braking.

hi i was thinking bout doing the same thing! i have a 1.4 16V 100bhp model ive just changed my brake pads i watched the mechanic change them and when he too the caliper off there where these 2 pieces of metal at the edge of the disk so i couldnt see how u could put a bigger disk on with these in the way! any ideas

thats why i wanted the r32 brakes cause i got the r32 rims on mine and the brakes look lost on 18's!
