in dash cd changer

I have recently bought a vw in dash 6 cd changer for my mark 5 polo - just wondered if there is anything i can do to prevent theft - am a bit worried now that as this is an in dash changer that it could be very appealling to thieves! Just wondered what other people do other than fit a car alarm! Does anyone know if these units are prone to theft - are they easy to remove in a hurry?

I have a VW 6 cd indash changer and it is connected to the standard gamma radio so they would effectivly have to take both.

Im not going to comment on how easy it may or may not be to remove in a hurry on a public forum.

But yes i would suggest a car alarm on any vechile - no matter what spec - but thats just me
