i cannot make my mind up about my alloys!!
i've got a 5dr red gti and need to refurb my alloys, was just going to get them done like standard, blasted and re coated in sliver and polish up the rims myself, now i'm wondering if i should have a chrome finish to the inner bits, bit like the 25th aniversary gti, not sure - what do you guys think? also, is it difficult to get a chrome finish?

Why not polish the lip and get the inner bit powder coated red. Might look good and a bit different since your car is red.

That looks really smart. If i had a red polo thats what i would be doing. Then if i wanted a change could then put it back to standard again.

Not too sure what I think really, but done the pic so everyone could get a better idea of what Jordan suggested.

Anthracite/gun metal centres would look good on a red car. My Superleggera's are anthracite, and I reckon it's a pretty good combination.
Then again, I genuinely think the red centres would look cool, and be different.

Someone post up a decent sized side view of a red one and we'll see how it would look on the car itself instead of on a static background.

The easiest way IMO to find a pic of a red alloy with polished rim would be to search for some decent images of a Porsche GT3 RS - should be plenty out there like this one (this is a picture of a model one btw):
It's the only car I can think of that has got red alloys on it!!

Oh wait a minute
lol I thought you wanted better images of a red alloy when really you want pics of a red Polo
Best I've got atm I'm afraid, maybe some of our fellow GTi-owning members will help out
