Square lights?

Post by scott b »

Right. I 've managed to find a grill off a derby and a set of square headlights. How hard is it gonna be to get these to fit my polo. Or is it considered a big no no. :?
Fancied something a bit different.

How cool is that !? 8)

Best case scenario, the lights come on the correct subframes and everything goes onto the original front panel just nicely. Worst case, you have to get a derby front panel? As you may have guessed, i dont have a clue!! but hope it works out for you

If you have a facelifted Polo (78-81) with plastic bumpers, the Derby front end goes on as a direct replacement. The Derby and Polo (78-81) front panels are identical.
<just noticed your other post - nice LX)

where'd you find the grill and lights then? will look good, though I do prefer round lights on the polo and squares on the derby cause it's a saloon in effect.

Steve (86c) on PORKA is sorting me out with the parts. Gonna try the squares on then decide which I like best. I just like to be different :D
