Insurance BARSTEWARDS !

Post by CalvinGTI »

Well its that time again, Insurance is due and its time to make some calls.

Phone LOADS of places and was getting very disheartened with quotes of £1400 and just below. As some of you might remember i got banned last november for 3 months for doing 120mph on the A127 !!!

Adrian Flux came to the rescue though with a quote of £691 Fully Comp + £350 Excess Fully Protected. not bad eh ?

Ive got another couple to phone to just check, but im pretty sure this is going to be the best premium around.

Anyone else been stung with a high premium since having points or a driving ban ?

I'm with Elephant, they're the only ones I could find to quote me, and I'm paying... Wait for it, roughly £1819.91 a year on the 10 month Bonus accelerator.

19 with no no claims, basically on my first car I was only a named driver so I could afford it (thus not getting any NCB), now I have my own policy but haven't got any no claims unfortunately.

At the minute I don't have any mods to declare, I'm going to get a quote next week though to have all rubstrips removed and smoothed and splitter painted. How old are you then Calvin?

I think lead foot must be a disorder  I find speed addictive to be honest, it's one of those things where you always want more
