Of i really am thinking in to modding my 16valver when i get her, so what are the options with throtttle bodies as far as modding, upgrading goes, any info prices links would be mooch apreciated

Throttle bodies are quite expensive unless you go down the motorbike throttle bodies route. Check eBay for these as there's normally quite a few for sale. As it's only a 1.4, I would imagine any of the 600cc bike ones will be fine. Budget on about £100 for a full set.

Next, you'll need a custom manifold to allow you to mount them to the engine. Will probably cost just under 200 quid unless you're clever and can modify the exisiting one some how.

Next you'll need a new ECU to control the fueling as it'll be quite different with throttle bodies. Megasquirt's the cheapest, but you have to build it yourself:

I'm converting my kit car to run on throttle bodies this winter as if it all goes wrong I've still got the Polo to get me to work! :D
