1.4 8v turbo conversion????

hi guys

just wondering.... rather than doing a full transplant (1.8t etc...), would it possible to get a kit to perform a 1.4 8v turbo conversion?

never really heard about one, would be nice to know.

if so, who can supply?

it can be done, so long as you go to the right place with the right cash but mio there isnt any point

it wud end up costing more than a total conv more than likly and the gain wouldnt be very large, 60hp -> 100?

tsr do a kit but puts it to about 105 bhp around that...might aswel convert it to a 16v!!!

lol, i didnt know there was so little difference!

so would a 16v engint drop straight into my 1.4?

what would i need to complete the full conversion?

ud need the ECU as well

and i think they go straight in, you may need some new engine/GB mounts if u use the 6n2 engine but i belive the loom is still v similar and you can get away with it

might aswel get the whole conversion...engine ecu gear box loom...
