Hi guys, I am a new member. I am 18 and I live in Essex my cars a 1997 polo 1.4 8v. Iâ€™ve had it for a few months now and havenâ€™t had any major problems, but sometimes my power steering gets really heavy, its well annoying! Do any of you guys have an idea of what it could be? Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Have you checked the power steering fluid is topped up correctly?

welcome matey!

sounds like your power steering rack could be on its way out.......

my evo 4 steering rack was begining to get really stiff..... eventually got told the rack was knackerd! got it replaced and hey presto! it was fine!

hope its not too major though......
