i've started to realise the radio reception in my gti is poo, is there a booster i can get or something?

Have you got a shortened bee-sting aerial or are you using the OEM aerial that originally came with the car? Shortened aerials can limit your reception!

if not the original headunit, then yes, you need to fit an inline booster to sort your reception out
check ebay or halfords for one

you could still try the inline booster I recon
its it FM or AM that is crap? is it always the same radio station or all off them? etc...

yep i switched to alpine and i had to get a booster from halfords! bout a tenner i think??

My original gammer unit and original bee sting was just as bad as my Sony headunit with stubbie, just play CD#s its easier

The only other thing I can think of atm is that perhaps something has worked it's way lose at the back of the Gamma headunit? Have you pulled it out and checked this at all mate?

else disconnect battery and reconnect and see if any better, 'reset' radio lol
